¡Cuidado! ¡Hay gárgolas y quimeras aquí!
Siempre que estoy explorando ciudades europeas, busco gárgolas y quimeras. Cuanto más singulares y extrañas son, más me gustan.
Conocía el término <<gárgola>>, pero acabo de aprender el término <<quimera>> en el contexto de arquitectura. Las gárgolas se usan para evacuar el agua de la lluvia de los tejados. Las quimeras tienen un estilo similar, pero solo son decorativas.

Whenever I'm exploring European cities, I look for gargoyles and chimeras. The more unique and strange they are, the more I like them.
I knew the term “gargoyle,” but I just learned the term “chimera” in the context of architecture. Gargoyles are used to drain rainwater from roofs. Chimeras are similar in style, but are only decorative.
Valencia

You can find this on the Silk Exchange building. I took this photo on our first trip to Valencia after moving to Spain, the second time ever. Many gargoyles are holding things in their hands.

Esta es una quimera en Granada. No sé en qué edificio se encuentra. No vimos mucho Granada. Solo la visitamos durante unas horas en un viaje a Ronda. Granada es muy conocida por La Alhambra. ¿Y qué es una quimera? Haz clic.

¿Esta gárgola está cuidando a su cría o la han capturado? No lo sé, pero es muy interesante y extraño. Me gusta mucho el castillo de Xátiva; Gigi y yo lo visitamos por su cumpleaños. Puedes ver más en mi blog.

Regresamos a Valencia con este hombre travieso. ¿Qué le está haciendo al edificio? Este desviado está cerca del mercado central. No estoy seguro si también es la Lonja. Muchas gárgolas y quimeras aparecen haciendo cosas malas.
